Plan of Action

In 2017, Jack Summit delegates identified key barriers to positive mental health across Canada.

1. Resources are inaccessible.

2. Mental health has harmful stereotypes.

3. People discriminate against those with mental health struggles.

4. People don't know how to take care of themselves and their peers.

5. Mental health is not an institutional priority.

Since Jack Summit 2017, delegates have been laser focused on smart, safe, loud and effective advocacy strategies to dissolve the barriers they identified to positive mental health.

So far this year, we’ve run Jack Talks, Jack Chapter initiatives and Regional Jack Summits that have already reached over 62,143 students. By the end of the school year, young leaders will reach over 165,000 young people. 2018 Network Reps
