Staff Alex Johnson TORONTO, ON As Senior Manager, Communications Alex’s first obligation is to tell the story of the work being done by Jack.org young leaders. Alex oversees the communications team and ensures that we're using our platform to amplify the voices of young leaders, and lead the national conversation around mental health. Pre-Jack.org, Alex spent a decade in the arts and culture sector as a producer and communicator, and spear-headed the first-ever digital arts platform for the Koffler Centre of the Arts. Alex is a huge champion of digital ethics and works to ensure that all of Jack.org's online communications practices are respectful, community-based, honest, and effective. Alex is currently working on a Brooklyn 99 companion series starring the staff of Jack.org. My mental health revolution means looking at outdated cultural constructs and going, “Hey, that’s not working anymore. Let’s take it apart.”
