Amy Wang

Toronto, ON

She/her
English and Mandarin

Amy’s involvement with Jack.org began as a youth in our network. She started the Jack Chapter at University of Toronto, Scarborough, became a Jack Talks speaker, a network representative, a summer intern, and ultimately, a full-time employee. She joined the Be There team, and her main responsibilities include: supporting the digital development of new resources, leading website maintenance and improvement projects, facilitating Be There Workshops, and writing content modules. Amy is inspired by the love and empathy our network has for their peers and their willpower to make the world a better place. If Amy was an iconic TV or movie moment she would be Joey wearing maternity pants to Thanksgiving dinner, every moment in Mamma Mia, or when tears fall from Chihiro's face as she devours her red bean bun.
