Staff Charlotte Johnston Toronto, ON Charlotte graduated from Queen’s University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Bachelor of Education. By way of her personal lived experiences, volunteer and work experience in peer support, and previous work with Jack.org (as an intern, Jack Talks speaker, and summit delegate) Charlotte has developed a passion for youth mental health advocacy. She has also loved facilitating and designing workshops for youth on sexual violence prevention and sexual/gender diversity. When not at work, you can find Charlotte conquering vocal harmonies in an a cappella group, plié-ing mostly ungracefully through ballet classes, trying to bake the ultimate cookie, or admiring blue skies in hip Toronto parks. My mental health revolution recognizes the unique experiences and identities that define our mental health stories. It won’t end until every person has the accessible, relevant support they need and feels valued and worthy in seeking it.
