Dana Lahey

Toronto, ON
Dana has spent the past decade working with youth to build movements for sustainable food systems and economic justice, organizing at campus, national, and North American scales. Passionate about how personal and social change happen, he has a BA in Anthropology and Sociology from McGill University, a Graduate Diploma in Social Innovation from the University of Waterloo, and is currently studying Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto. He loves thinking deeply and getting into his body - mindfulness practice, drumming, skiing, and dance are some of his favourite ways in.

My mental health revolution: A world where young people are able to hold their suffering with self-compassion and feel they deserve support; where support is accessible to all, by practitioners who have the skills to help youth feel seen in both their struggle and their wholeness; and where mental health is understood as inextricably interdependent with the health of our bodies, relationships, societies, and environment.
