Staff Danielle She/they English and French When Danielle was seventeen-year-old, she sought out mental health care and was dismissed by doctors. They had to learn it all on their own—terminology, coping strategies, navigating symptoms. If joining Jack.org means she can help at least one seventeen-year-old access the information and resources they need, they know they’ve found the right place for them. As a Communications Advisor, Danielle’s role means she is working on a team that holds the same values as they do. It means that she can disseminate life changing information to youth who need it, all while remaining creative and collaborative. It means working towards something that is greater than themself. Danielle hopes all psychological services become covered under the universal health care system in a timely, accessible, and culturally sensitive manner for every Canadian. In her spare time, Danielle likes to listen to audiobooks, chill with their dog Fig, and do CrossFit.
