Teresa Chen

Edmonton, AB
Teresa (She/Her) was born and (mostly) raised in Edmonton, Alberta, where she is currently studying Medicine at the University of Alberta. She has also briefly lived in Vermilion, Alberta during her childhood and mental health has been a part of her life for many years through many loved ones, as well as her extracurricular projects, which have ranged from local to international levels. She has been involved with Jack.org for multiple years across each of their Summit, Chapters as well as Jack Talks programs and is incredibly excited to continue her involvement this year as a Network Representative. Mental health equity, cultural mental health, intersectionality and resource accessibility are where she hopes to make a difference, because in her ideal world who you are, as well as where or how you grew up should not limit the support you are able to reach. Outside of work, Teresa can be found making food, eating food, spending time with her loved ones and tending to her plant collection.
