The Story Behind This Initiative:

Personally I have struggled for years trying to educate myself on mental health knowledge because if I'm being completely honest, no one ever gets taught in school or sometimes even in our own households about mental health and that is where it becomes a barrier for us to overcome our mental health struggles. When I was around 15 my emotions and feelings started to feel a lot more sensitive and I started to feel more sad than usual. This made me feel anxious and abnormal which led to many other obstacles in the coming years. Luckily, with amazing resources and initiatives like, Be There and Do Something, I find hope in the youth of this generation who are feeling the same feelings I felt because there is an abundant of opportunities to learn and grow from with our own mental health.
