Janani Venkat is a third-year student at Dalhousie University where she studies biochemistry and chemistry. She loves volunteering in her community and particularly enjoys working with youth - she believes that young people have the power to create so much change. Janani became involved with Jack.org in high school, after hearing an inspiring Jack Talk delivered at her school. She is passionate about increasing diversity in the mental health conversation. In her free time, Janani can be found reading by the ocean, participating in student leadership initiatives, or (yet again!) rewatching Schitt's Creek.
