Event Volunteer

Jack.org is Canada’s only charity that trains and empowers young leaders to revolutionize mental health. With initiatives and programs designed with the input of young people at every step, we will end stigma in our generation. We are currently seeking energetic event volunteers to assist with major events such as Jack Ride, as well as many community based events that require volunteer support.

Tasks & Responsibilities (varies based on event):

  • Swag packing and distributing
  • Represent Jack.org at event booths
  • Site set up and take down
  • Greeting and wayfinding
  • Registration support

Desired Skills and Traits:

  • Energetic self starter
  • Communication and people skills
  • Time management skills
  • Punctual, organized, and detail oriented
  • Excel and data entry experience an asset

Time Commitment:

Event volunteers are required on an as-needed basis in relation to event schedules

Typically, event volunteers are scheduled in 4 hour shifts
 

Benefits:

The Event Volunteer will receive training and will learn skills related to event execution

Upon request, a reference letter will be provided upon successful completion of the role
