“Understanding that I can make such a huge impact on my own wellbeing was one of the biggest moments for me.”
Young people across the country are stepping up to support their peers with their mental health. By leading community initiatives, mental health presentations and workshops, and advocating for systems that can help youth build healthy lives, young people are leading the movement for change to mental health.
Together with young people, we can create the change we need to see.
Jack Chapters are groups of young people that support community mental health by running initiatives designed to support the mental health needs of community members.
Jack Talks are mental health presentations that use the power of personal stories and peer-to-peer connection to spark open dialogue about mental health challenges, support, and resources.
Be There is a free, online resource that provides young people with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to support a friend or loved one who is struggling with their mental health.

Together, we can shift the narrative and culture around mental health and drive the change we need to see by:
- Training young people to have the knowledge and skill they need to support one another's mental health.
- Improving youth mental health literacy through youth led peer-to-peer education.
- Preventing self-harm and suicide as a result of emotional distress by showing young people how, where, and when to seek help.
“No matter what skills you’re bringing to the table — whether you’re introverted, extroverted, you really love talking, you actually hate public speaking — whatever it is, you have a place at Jack.org.”
– Hannah, Jack Talks Speaker
Together, we’re building a world where no young person struggles in silence, and everyone gets the support they deserve. Our movement is one for young people, by young people. Help us drive the future we need.
