Staff Jesse Hayman Toronto, ON As Vice President, Jesse ensures that Jack.org is positioned to propel our programs forward, that we always work towards being one of the top employers in Canada, and that we have the funds necessary to revolutionize youth mental health across Canada. Jesse came to Jack.org after seven years at The Movember Foundation. As part of Canada’s original Movember team of three, Jesse led the development team with a special focus on their voice and thought leadership surrounding men’s mental health and suicide prevention. Recognizing the lack of resources available to help people learn how to be there for others throughout their mental health journey, Jesse’s frustration has turned into action and a desire to make change across Canada. He’s been involved in mental health prevention and promotion ever since. You might catch Jesse in his element on the rugby field, diving to the bottom of the ocean, hanging out in a canoe in Ontario’s backcountry, walking his dogs Dexter/Rocco, or in the Jack.org office. My mental health revolution looks like a country where our leaders (educators, parents, government, etc.) fully respect and prioritize mental health. Where communities understand what mental health is and look out for each other. A country where, when someone reaches out for help they are met with love and empathy from the people who surround them and have access to the professional support they need and deserve.
