Umar has partnered with brands like Coca-Cola, Mercedes-Benz, UNICEF, Adidas, Canada Post and TD helping with strategy, digital products, and communications. He has spent 15 years working at startups, brands, and specialized marketing agencies. He currently co-leads strategy at Wunderman Thompson, one of the world’s leading marketing consultancies. He is actively part of the marketing community as an awards judge, instructor and supported various committees at the Interactive Advertising Bureau. He is also the Chief Strategist for the world’s best ideas school - Miami Ad School. He holds an MBA in Marketing, a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics and continuing education from University of Toronto.
