Staff Aimee Israel Toronto, ON Aimee joined Jack.org in 2017 to work with the Operations Team (“Smooth Operators”). She focuses on human resources, technology infrastructure, vendor relations, mergers and collaboration opportunities, as well as a number of special projects to support the amazing and ever growing team at Jack.org. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, she works closely with Eric and the Board of Directors on governance and strategy deliverables. Prior to joining Jack.org, Aimee graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an LLB and has worked as a corporate lawyer, both on Bay Street and at a chocolate factory. Twelve years ago, she stepped away from a legal career to try her hand as an entrepreneur. She co-founded a health and wellness company which delivered expert-led digital content to over 15 million people across North America. In 2008, she was named one of Profit Magazines Top 100 Female Entrepreneurs. Aimee is passionate about destigmatizing mental illness and promoting resiliency and serves on the board of the Mood Disorders Association of Ontario and Partners for Mental Health. When she is not in the office, she can be found on my road bike with friends or on the dock in cottage county with her husband and 3 kids. My mental health revolution culminates peacefully in a world where there is parity between mental and physical health.
