Pronouns: they/them | elle en français

Elijah is a Program Coordinator at Jack.org, where they support youth mental health advocates in the prairies (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba).

They now call Toronto home, but Elijah is originally from Regina, Saskatchewan / Treaty 4 territory. They completed a Certificate in French as a Second Language and a Bachelor's in French and Francophone Intercultural Studies through La Cité at the University of Regina. They also hold minors in psychology and women's and gender studies.

Prior to making the move to Jack.org, they taught English in low income French middle schools, spent a year in the fashion / retail world, and worked for a low cost youth work exchange program. Elijah is passionate about expression, equity, access, anti-oppressive work, cultural competency, and youth empowerment.

Outside of work, you can find Elijah trying every Thai restaurant in Toronto, geeking out on feminist and queer theory, being a Bunz trade pro, and petting their very cute cat, Merv.

My mental health revolution looks like accessible, culturally appropriate, and 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly mental health services no matter where you live in Canada.
