Staff Elijah Wolfram They/them English, French Elijah firmly believes that youth, especially when empowered and equipped to do so, can bring about important social changes. They value community-based, culturally appropriate, equitable, and accessible approaches to solving social problems. Elijah is passionate about making changes to mental health conversations and services in Canada. At Jack.org, they get to work in alignment with their values—alongside some amazing youth, adult allies, and coworkers—to actively build more inclusive, compassionate, and resilient communities. As a Program Lead for Jack Chapters, Elijah oversees the program design and implementation of all things Chapters: groups of youth who work to identify and dismantle barriers to positive mental health in their communities. Elijah would like to see accessible, culturally appropriate, and 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly mental health services in every community across the country. Almost everything Elijah owns is used or previously-owned: their free time is spent on apps or in stores, tracking down new-to-them items for their wardrobe or apartment and passing along their things that are ready to find their next home.
