Coming from a background in community programming with a focus on mentoring at-risk youth, Jack.org captured Erin’s heart when she saw that the basis of our programming is youth voice informed. Erin’s work in community programming has centred on youth voice, and it was important to her to work at an organization that aligns with her personal and professional values. She gets to meet and work with some passionate mental health youth leaders across the country and gather valuable data and information on how the Jack.org programs are operating and see how they can be improved. Erin hopes to see people get so comfortable talking about their mental health that it becomes a normal topic of conversation, and no one ever has to feel alone. If Erin was an iconic movie scene, she would be Elle Woods saying "What? Like it's hard?"
