Staff Gillian Hards As Senior Manager, Grants and Foundations, Gillian works closely with foundation, corporate and government partners to ensure that Jack.org’s network of young leaders is supported in the work they do to increase education, improve attitudes and change systems around mental health. Gillian has spent the last 15 years working in cultural planning and programming, community development, and grant portfolio management for not-for-profit and public sector organizations. Over the course of her career Gillian has been fortunate to work with artists, youth groups, newcomers, community and cultural organizers and health promotion advocates to support, develop and implement transformational community initiatives. She is incredibly excited to contribute her insights and experience to build long-lasting partnerships with Jack.org’s supporters and help improve the mental health of young people across Canada. When she’s not at work, you will likely find Gillian basking in the chaos of life with twin toddlers and doing her very best to plan their next family adventure. My mental health revolution is a world where everyone has mental health support and access to services that reflect the needs of their community and identity(ies).
