Staff Jérémie Gabourg Montreal, QC Jérémie sees that Jack.org’s programs and communications reach and engage Canada’s diverse francophone youth. He makes sure that francophone leaders across Canada have the tools and resources they need to make a difference in their communities, and that their voices are heard and valued among all stakeholders. Jérémie strives to create a space where beautifully nuanced francophone conversations take centerstage and where francophone youth can connect with one another to spread ideas and support each other. Before joining Jack.org, Jérémie worked over 15 years in the communications and marketing fields. First, in the travel industry at organizations such as Air Transat and Tourism, and more recently in the non-profit world at Trans Canada Trail. Outside of work, you’ll find Jérémie plotting his next trip, learning a new language, or reading on mental health, creativity or personal growth. He also watches hours of YouTube videos on paleontology and astronomy. If it happened millions of years ago, or takes place billions of miles away, it gets Jérémie’s attention. My mental health revolution looks like a world where empathy, respect and inclusion are truly systemic. To get there, we have to ensure the leaders of tomorrow are mentally healthy, emotionally intelligent and respectful of others. Regardless of the language we speak, we face obstacles to mental healthcare that must be dismantled. ASAP.
