Staff Julia Windeler As Summit Coordinator, Julia is responsible for all things Jack Summit. Her role involves coordinating with the Network Representatives, the staff team and external resources to plan our National Jack Summit and other Summits throughout the country. Julia is an avid environmentalist and holds a MSc in Climate Change Science & Policy from King's College London, but holds mental health close to her heart. Throughout university, Julia spent her spare time volunteering as a member of the student welfare team, offering in person and online peer-to-peer support for students on campus. She has significant experience working with young people as a canoe tripping guide and counsellor, and prior to completing her Masters degree worked with us here at Jack.org as Development and Communications Coordinator. Most recently, she was an intern with Global Action Plan, helping the organization advocate for a shift in behaviour toward sustainability among young people in the UK. When not at work, you can find Julia rock climbing, baking, or planning her next big camping trip. My mental health revolution creates a space where young people opening up about their mental health are not rebels, and where conversation surrounding mental health is not revolutionary, but a comfortable norm.
