Staff Kevin McGregor Toronto, ON As Program Manager, Kevin supports Jack.org’s initiatives in Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta, and British Columbia. He focuses on bringing young people to the forefront of our mental health movement. Kevin acknowledges his place as a European settler and is grateful to live and work on traditional Indigenous territories across these regions. Prior to joining Jack.org, Kevin worked for over eight years with child and youth focused organizations. He brings a globalized perspective from his experiences in Western/Eastern Africa, Southeast Asia, South America, the Middle East, as well as Cree, Ojibwe, Oji-Cree, and Mi’kmaq nations in Canada. Kevin completed a Master of Science in Mental Health in Children and Young People in 2019 from the University of Edinburgh. More than his academic experience, he has spent time with incredible mentors, community leaders, Elders, educators, caretakers, children, and young people who have inspired his way of thinking and approach to mental health. My mental health revolution is happening now. It is young people rallying across the country to challenge the way we think about mental health.
