Staff Safina Allidina She/her English Safina was working in health systems management and wanted to use her passion and experience to make a stronger impact on mental health. She joined Jack.org to work on programs that help young people use their skills and experience to improve the mental health landscape. Safina oversees our Talks and Chapters programs, which support young people in educating their peers about mental health and addressing barriers to positive mental health in their communities. As part of our Program Design and Quality team, Safina works closely with our Talks Manager and Chapters Lead to ensure these programs are running effectively. She believes in a community-led model that actively combats stigma and systemic barriers, where each of us cares deeply about those around us and offers support in every way we can. In her spare time, Safina is usually drinking tea (most likely blended by teaBOT), listening to podcasts (probably Harry Potter or The Office), making puns, or creating long lists of new plant-based recipes and restaurants to try.
