Alexa Gavrilidis

Windsor, ON
Alexa recently graduated from the Masters of Applied Health Sciences program at Western University. She strongly desires to pursue lifestyle medicine, as this bridges the gap between mental and physical health and describes them as one. After being introduced to Jack.org in 2018, Alexa joined her local Jack Chapter. Through her five-year (and counting) involvement with Jack.org, she not only gained the mental health knowledge she needed to share with her loved ones and community, she became a more equipped mental health advocate in the process. She learned to prioritize her well-being and reach out for support when she needs it, and she hopes to encourage everyone she meets to achieve this throughout their life. Alexa loves quality time with her family and friends, playing with her Goldendoodle named Lyra, cooking plant-based recipes, going on long walks, and travelling back to her motherland of Greece any chance she gets.
