Jack Talk Speakers Alexandra Rodgers Etobicoke, ON Alexandra is currently a student at Humber College completing her Bachelors of Child and Youth Care Counselling Degree. Navigating through her own personal journey with mental illness and coming to accept it as a strength instead of a weakness has empowered her to help others see that it?s possible to succeed and thrive with a mental health challenge. Alexandra?s dream is to continue her education in Clinical Child psychology to pursue a career working with youth and young adults struggling with mental illness. And while working towards this goal, she hopes to embrace each day doing the things she loves, like spending time with her family, friends and puppies, making pottery, and cooking as much as she can.
