Jack Talk Speakers Bryn Joy Halifax, NS Bryn Joy (she/her) is a dedicated mental health advocate, passionate about shaping positive change in the world around her. She attends Dalhousie University, where she is pursuing an honours degree in Medical Sciences. Bryn was super excited to be a part of the 2022 Eastern Summit Youth Planning Team with Jack.org. Aside from her involvement with Jack.org, Bryn is a trained Peer Mentor and Virtual Peer Supporter with Eating Disorders Nova Scotia, and the Team Lead for Cam?s Kids Dalhousie. To honour her grandmother, who passed away from cancer in 2018, she is also the Fundraising Captain of Metro University?s Relay for Life chapter for the Canadian Cancer Society. In her free time, Bryn?s favourite hobbies include cooking for her family, hiking and biking with her dad, or trying out new cafés with her friends.
