Yaël is currently a student at the University of Alberta, she is in her fourth year of working on her Bachelor's in Criminology. She hopes to work with vulnerable populations across Canada to gain a brighter future for all individuals. Yaël has always been passionate about mental health and has been an advocate for years, including through her previous position on BGC Canada's National Youth Council. Yaël has joined the Jack Talks Speaker Program in hopes of inspiring youth to care for their mental well-being and become passionate about ending the stigma surrounding mental health. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her cat and hedgehog (Penelope and Clementine) and trying new foods!
