Network Reps Clayton Murphy Halifax, NS Clayton comes from the small seaside town of Mulgrave, Nova Scotia. From here he moved to Halifax to study Psychology and Sociology at Dalhousie University. Clayton’s lived experience with mental health struggles provided insight into the lack of resources and accessibility in Nova Scotia. Through joining the Dalhousie Chapter, he began his advocacy journey as community outreach, eventually leading the regional summit of 2019, “Making Waves”. Upon graduation, Clayton now dedicates his time to advocating for rural accessibility and outreach, LGBTQ+ and indigenous outreach, as well as intersectional and positive mental health policies. In his spare time, you can find Clayton in the middle of a Netflix marathon, gaming, tending to his many plants, or maybe just cuddling up to his cat while drinking an iced coffee.
