Network Reps Jay Legaspi Vancouver, BC Irwin Legaspi Jr (pronouns, he/him), or as most people refer to him as Jay, has been born and raised in Surrey, British Columbia for all of his life. If you really knew Jay, you’d know that he is obnoxiously loud, a psychology major at Kwantlen Polytechnic University, a dog lover, a music addict and a food connoisseur. He has been involved with Jack.org ever since he jumped in the Pacific Ocean to raise money for youth mental health in the Brainfreeze of November 2019. Jay has always been passionate about helping others and providing support for youth especially those who are of the Asian culture and who identify as LGBTQ+. He hopes as a network rep he can reach out and help BIPOC youth who are in rural areas who also identify as LGBTQ+ that need access to mental health services in a private, confidential way. If there is something you will always find him doing in my spare time, it would either be binge watching something on Netflix, cooking something with cheese or playing the ukulele excessively loud so that his neighbors can compliment his singing. Lastly, if there were three words to describe him it would be unforgettable, loving and fabulous.
