Braedon Aujla (he/him)

British Columbia

Braedon Aujla (he/him) is currently a PharmD student at the University of British Columbia. Born and raised in Prince George, BC, Braedon has a passion for mental health advocacy and for normalizing positive conversations about mental health. He believes these are the first steps towards systemic change in the mental health landscape of our communities. In his spare time, he works as the unofficial Global Ambassador of the Vancouver Canucks.

Interest and Motivation to Become a Senior Speaker
What specifically interests Braedon about the Senior Speaker model is the opportunity to expand the audience that he gives Jack Talks to. As Braedon gets older and further away from his high school years, it will be really interesting and exciting for him to speak to different age groups and for those who work in diverse audiences and environments (such as the corporate Talks).

Training and Professional Development Interests
One specific area of knowledge that Braedon would like to work on further is training with media relations. He doesn’t have much experience when it comes to speaking to and with the media. As Braedon continues further with his Jack Talks career, he feels that it would be helpful to have this type of training and these skill-building tools.

Speaking Experience
As a seasoned speaker, Braedon has delivered Talks for over three years.
