As we wrap up our most successful Brainfreeze to date, we want to say thank you. Whoever you are, wherever you are, and however you got involved.

Brainfreeze 2019 was an epic, bone-chilling blast.

This year’s Brainfreeze was the biggest ever. In Halifax, Collingwood, Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver and Victoria, courageous polar bears stripped down to their skivvies and proved that arctic temperatures can’t stop them from making a splash for youth mental health.

All told, we raised a mind-blowing $150,000 for programs that will help young people all over the country, blasting by our fundraising goal by 50 per cent. That’s something that’ll keep us warm and cozy until Brainfreeze 2020.

To everyone who dipped, donated or provided much-needed moral support—thank you! It’s because of you that this community of brave souls has grown each year. In the next couple of years, Brainfreeze is going to grow to be the biggest polar bear dip in the world. And the recipe for that is simple: amazing people and an essential cause.

We can’t wait to see your faces out there freezing and fighting for a better country next year.
