A Revolutionary Weekend We changed the country and broke the internet. Play video #JackSummit 2018: That's a wrap #JackSummit had 200 young leaders from Prince George to Iqaluit, from Winnipeg to St. John’s, come to Toronto as “Rebels with a Cause.” Too many of their peers are dying or struggling in silence. So they gathered to rebel against mental health systems that no longer serve them and a status quo that, too often, ignores their voices. Change needs to happen and they are leading it. During Summit weekend, their voices reached over 4 million people with the #JackSummit hashtag. Their video address to Justin Trudeau was shared over 600 times and mentioned by thousands of people in Canada. They were featured on Breakfast Television Toronto, Breakfast Television Montreal, Hello! Canada, Global Toronto, and the Globe and Mail. Prince William, Duke of Cambridge sent them a video of support, as did Grammy Award winner Alessia Cara. Nothing in this world is more powerful than a group of motivated and organized young people rallying around a shared cause. The revolution is real, and it’s happening now.
