Meet the Revolution: Jack.org UMUN Play video Meet a chapter that’s promoting resources. Jack.org MUN chapter works throughout the year to spread awareness about the Jack.org network and to break down some of the barriers that students face in getting help. We are fortunate in that Memorial has a variety of mental health resources on campus, and students can really benefit from what exists. Our primary obstacles are around awareness of these resources and making sure that students know what's out there. We schedule all kinds of informational booths, and incorporate messages into our events like our Pumpkin Smash and our Bake-No-Sales! These messaging campaigns help spread information about the tools and resources that are out there and how students can use them to benefit their mental health. We have had a great impact here at Memorial and are part of consulting teams such as the counselling center board and Health and Wellness week. We work hard to deliver knowledge to students and make sure that 5/5 of us have access to the help that we need.
