Ride Your Way: Larry Optis

Larry Optis wanted to #DoSomething for youth mental health and Jack.org. So in spring of 2017, he famously cycled 8,848 metres - over 512 km and the equivalent escalation of Mount Everest - in just under 24 hours, doing hundreds of repititions of single hill with minimal breaks.

But it gets better...

When he got home, he realized his Strava was a little wonky. So he went back and kept going, until he had become the first Canadian cyclist to successfully Everest in under 24 hours.

He’s a Fundraising Rebel, a mental health advocate, a beast, and friend. Thank you, Larry. Always.
