Going the Distance: Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Run

This year’s Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Run was a glorious, cool and sunny day. An absolutely perfect morning  to hit the trail and pave the way for better youth mental health in Canada.

The Jack.org team was nearly 40 people strong this year, with runners completing in the 5k, half and full marathon. All told, they ran a collective 600+ kilometers and raised over $17,500 for Jack.org’s youth mental health programs. That’s something worth celebrating!

Personal bests were bested, and every kilometer run brought us one step closer to a Canada where all young people understand how to take care of their own mental health and look out for each other. A Canada without shame, where all those who need support get the help they deserve.

To our fearless runners and to the generous donors that fuelled their efforts, thank you. You are the reason we’re able to continue to build a better country for young people. Your dedication makes all the difference.

Registration for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon 2020 opens in the Spring - make sure to reach out to fundraise@jack.org for instructions on how to join our team and redeem our charity discount codes!
