Application Form to Become a Speaker

Become a Jack Talks Speaker and bring positive mental health messages to hundreds, even thousands, of young people across Canada.

Who can apply to become a Jack Talks Speaker?
Anyone between 18 and 26, but TBH, this is a loose restriction. As long as you’re at least 18 and able to relate to young people on a peer-to-peer level, we encourage you to apply.

How do I apply?
Before you apply, we encourage you to check out our Pre-Recorded Personal Edition of the Jack Talk. This will show you the knowledge and skills practiced by two of our experienced Jack Talks Speakers.

Fill out the online application form (below) and a member of the Jack Talks Team will get in touch. Questions? Contact the Jack Talks Team directly: talks@jack.org

Note: We welcome applications on an ongoing basis throughout the year, but acceptance into the training program will be considered based on organizational capacity and regional speaker needs. If we are unable to take you on as a speaker at this time, we will let you know and invite you back to be a part of our summer training cohort.

Summer Cohort Details:
Training begins in July 2023.
