Ingrid Malmberg - York, ON
Ingrid is in her second year as a Jack Talks speaker. Ingrid?s passion for mental health started in university when she was doing a Bachelor in Disaster and Emergency Management with a large volume of psychology electives at York University. Some of her favorite topics in the psychology field are personality psychology and trauma psychology. Ingrid believes that education in the domain of mental health and psychology are the first steps towards improved health and is excited to work with Jack Talks to further this goal. Ingrid also completed her firefighting training at Seneca college and is now working towards her goal of becoming a full time firefighter. Additionally, she has extensive experience as a Red Cross First Aid Instructor. Ingrid?s ultimate goal is to train in the critical incident stress management (CISM) field in order to provide peer mental health support in first responder organizations.
