Kat resides in Windsor, Ontario and is a recent graduate from Wayne State University's Master of Social Work program. She also earned a dual-title degree in Infant Mental Health. Kat has been involved with Jack.org since 2018 in the Chapters, Talks and Network Representative programs. Kat became involved with Jack.org at a time that she needed it most. Having access to foundational mental health knowledge and the ability to navigate various mental health systems are things that she wishes she had earlier in her life and are core reasons why she does this work. As a Registered Social Worker building relationships with young children and families, Kat's understanding of early childhood experiences fuels her passion for continuing to change the mental health landscape so that it is safe, inclusive and free of stigma for future youth.
