Megan Sky - Collingwood, ON
Megan Sky obtained her Bachelors of Science from the University of Guelph where she also spent four years with the Jack.org Guelph Chapter. Now that she is graduated, Meg spends the majority of her time doing contract work to provide graduation support as well as teaching in communities along the James and Hudson Bays and is often travelling in her time off. Advocating for mental health and helping to create space where everyone can feel safe in their vulnerability and to speak freely, honestly, and openly has always been of importance to Megan. This passion stems from having many loved ones, including herself, been affected by the stigma and/or a lack of appropriate and accessible resources surrounding mental health. Being a part of Jack.org both as a Chapter lead and a Jack Talks speaker has allowed her the space to share that passion with so many incredible and kind people. Some things that fill Meg up are spending time in nature whether it's camping, climbing, paddling, biking, skiing, or adventuring around, and you will often find her gushing over pretty well every animal she sees.
