We’ll Own That Feeling

Young people live with overwhelming feelings of anxiety, depression, stress, or loneliness every day. We’ll own that feeling together so no one has to live with it alone.

Jack.org is Canada's largest network of young people supporting young people, we give young people the resources, tools, and confidence they need to start owning their mental health journeys.

We’re a movement for young people, by young people – because there’s no more pressing health challenge young people are facing than the mental health emergency.

The Wall of Feelings

A community that cares shows young people who are struggling that they’re not alone. Leave a message of hope for a young person in Canada today.

You are not a burden. Feelings can be scary but they are nothing to be ashamed of. You matter, just because you’re you. It’s not about what you accomplish or how productive you are or what you got on your last test. You matter because you’re here and I promise you, you are loved more than you know.

Having tragically lost my dear son Jack to mental illness … I am fully aware of how important these preventative conversations are. Making sure our wonderful young people are free of shame and stigma is crucial. That way we can get them the support they need and deserve to live a long and healthy life.

There are so many people who care about you. You just have to let them know how they can help you. If you don't know how, ask for them to just listen, or give you a hug. Sending love from someone who has gone through mental health struggles and healed.

It's never easy to experience that feeling, and that feeling can come and go without end - but you don't need to go through it alone, it is easier to get through that feeling with someone; and that feeling will be easier to get through each time. Much like a study or training partner, there are people around you who do understand, and will be there side by side with you as you get stronger!
