Breaking Barriers - Winnipeg

Breaking Barriers is Jack.org’s youth-led summit on mental health in the prairies. The summit brings together the next generation of mental health leaders from Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northwestern Ontario. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with keynote speakers, participate in workshops, share insights and collaborate on real, actionable strategies.

At Breaking Barriers, experience a full day of connecting with like-minded young people from all over the region to activate the youth mental health revolution. You’ll deepen your understanding of culturally sensitive and inclusive approaches to mental health, as well as get educated on how to campaign against stigma in the workplace and across your school communities.

Who can apply to attend?

  • Anyone aged 18-25
  • If you live in Saskatchewan, Manitoba or Northern Ontario (transportation will be arranged and funded by Jack.org for any delegate who resides outside of Winnipeg)
  • Students and non-students encouraged to apply!
