Bell Let's Talk

Jack.org is honoured to be a featured partner for the 15th annual Bell Let’s Talk Day for mental health on January 22nd, 2025. This year, Bell Let’s Talk is turning the spotlight on the growing youth mental health crisis by launching a national text-to-donate campaign with Jack.org and five other organizations providing mental health services and resources for youth.

Text “YOUTH” to 45678 on January 22nd and Bell will match your donation.

This year’s campaign comes at a time when young Canadians need it most. Recent data from Mental Health Research Canada revealed that 1.25 million youth – or one in every four youth – need mental health support. However, over half of these youth are not getting the support they need, especially before they reach a point of crisis. Suicide remains a leading cause of death among young people in Canada.

The team at Jack.org is committed to changing this by providing essential mental health education resources to young people across Canada, setting them up with the skills and strategies to thrive. The funds raised through this campaign will help grow Jack.org’s national network of peer-to-peer supporters and will support the creation of new programs and resources for Black and Indigenous youth.

We all have a role to play in ending the mental health crisis youth are facing. Join the campaign on January 22nd by texting “YOUTH” to 45678 using your mobile phone. Your donation will be doubled as Bell will generously match all $5 donations up to a total of $1 million. Make sure to authorize your donation by replying to the confirmation message with “YES”!

Thank you to Bell Let’s Talk for the opportunity to work on changing the mental health landscape for youth across the country.
